holds Pidgeotite to become Mega Pidgeot,
taking its total from 479 to 579. The biggest single gain is 65 Sp. Atk, followed by 20 Speed. Nothing goes down — HP and Attack stay exactly where they were.
The typing does not change — it is Normal and Flying before and after — so the Mega is the same defensive problem as the base form, only bigger. Mega Evolving replaces Keen Eye, Tangled Feet and Big Pecks with No Guard.
What gets through
As Normal and Flying, 3 of the eighteen attacking types get through for extra damage. It resists 2 and is outright immune to 2. The full board is above; the short version is that the
