taking its total from 530 to 630. The biggest single gain is 30 Attack, followed by 30 Sp. Atk. Nothing goes down — HP stays exactly where it was.
The typing does not change — it is Water and Dark before and after — so the Mega is the same defensive problem as the base form, only bigger. The ability stays Protean.
What gets through
